Humanitarian Challenge Campaign
Solve For Health – The MSF ‘Stop Ebola’ Escape Room | November 9, 2024
Our 2024 Humanitarian Challenge invited participants to step into the shoes of an Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical team battling an Ebola outbreak. This immersive escape room experience developed by MSF not only aimed to raise awareness about challenges faced by these medical teams, but enabled attendees to dive into the humanitarian world in a more tangible way. Thank you to all participants for taking the time to come by, solve the challenge, mingle and connect!
stop. think. feel. act. | October 2-8, 2023
Our 2023 Humanitarian Challenge, in collaboration with the Open Your Eyes Photo Festival in Zurich, aimed to raise awareness about the United Nations's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The "OPEN YOUR EYES" campaign turned Zurich into a visual museum with creative photography, engaging the people in critical global issues. As part of our Humanitarian Challenge, the Circle of Young Humanitarians took over the festival’s visitor center at General-Guisan-Quai and challenged the public to join for a volunteer shift. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and participated!
Ride for Energy Awareness | November 26, 2022
For people affected by armed conflicts, the lack of energy security becomes a question of survival. For example, during the 1991 Gulf War, the majority of deaths were not caused by the direct impact of bombs, but by the destruction of the electric power grid that led to the collapse of the public health, water and sanitations systems. We dedicated our 2022 Humanitarian Challenge to raise awareness on the value of energy and its role as a key to survival in armed conflicts
Sweat for Change | December 4-8, 2021
During our first Humanitarian Challenge «Sweat for Change» we offered a sport class or partnered up with some of our favorite sport providers in Zurich each day so that every sweat drops makes a meaningful difference: with over 90 participants, the Circle of Young Humanitarians was able to donate just over 3000 CHF to the International Committee of the Red Cross! A special thank you goes to our amazing partners Mix Studio, The Loft by LH Personaltraining, Lucky Punch, Kampfkunst Zürich and Kathrin Schweizer – thank you for the great collaboration!
