Launch Event | August 14, 2021
The Circle of Young Humanaritarians has officially been launched! We celebrated the launch of the CYH with delicious food and drinks, a great musical performance and good vibes with all of the participants. During the launch event, the participants got to know how the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) helps relieve the suffering of people affected by armed conflict through a discussion with ICRC delegate Mark Kessler and learned what the Circle is really all about.

During the first part of our journey to the humanitarian world, we got to know the work of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) by hearing from two inspiring ICRC delegates located in Syria and in Jerusalem to learn first-hand what it really means to be a humanitarian. With over 180 participants, we were happy to give a first glimpse into the Circle of Young Humanitarians and what the future has in store for us.
